About Us
The Sea Kayak Shop in Anacortes offers professional paddling instruction, kayak tours, rentals and paddling equipment sales.
Our goal is to provide kayaking adventures and to develop the safety, knowledge and skills of any paddler that is open to learning and improving.
We are the local experts when it comes to anything related to kayaking and paddling.
Our instructor, coaches, guides and educators carry professional certifications and credentials from organizations such as the American Canoe Association, British Canoe Union, Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, Remote Medical International, American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
We offer kayak adventures from 2-hour daily excursions to multi-day San Juan Island expeditions and offer paddling instruction from flat water safety and maneuvering skills on up to paddling in the currents and moving water of Deception Pass.
We offer a large rental fleet of kayaks for the qualified do-it-yourselfer and carry major paddlesports brands such as: Eddyline Kayaks, Swift paddles, Kokatat drysuits & pfd's, Werner paddles, Stohquist immersion wear and various brands of essential paddling gear - Our philosophy is try before purchase.
