Your role is to help the clinic function at its peak. To be the backbone of the day to day functions. Your responsibility, as the first employee patients see when they enter the clinic, is to look professional and polished to help further promote this image of the clinic. Please greet and welcome every patient warmly to establish comfort and trust. When it comes to healthcare, it is imperative that patients feel that they are in a safe environment and in trusting hands.

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Experience Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service in a welcoming and professional environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and is open to cross-training in various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries appropriately and providing accurate information.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain patient records, process payments, and manage insurance verifications.
  • Office Coordination: Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable, manage office supplies, and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Room Patients: If not already credentialed as an MA, the clinic will train you to take vitals and handle other basic patient care tasks.
  • Cross-Training: Willingness to learn and assist in other administrative areas to support overall clinic

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role at a medical clinic/hospital, at least 1 year.
  • Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, proficiency in EMR systems, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
