The Others

Nicole Kidman stars as Grace, the devoutly religious mother of two children, who suffer from a sensitivity to the sun. This affliction means that all the curtains must be drawn and all the doors locked in their sprawling manor on the English coast. Awaiting word from her husband -- missing in action during World War II -- Grace at first doubts her children's stories of seeing ghosts. As the eerie evidence mounts and the servants deny culpability, Grace begins to suspect that there is indeed a supernatural presence at work.
