Learn to see the sea in a whole new way! Whether you are brand new to nature journaling or looking for new tips, tricks, and techniques - join Salish Sea School staff in this approachable and fun nature journaling workshop. No experience necessary! About the Event This workshop will include: An intro to the basics of nature journaling General tips, tricks, and techniques to make nature journaling a successful habit - no matter your art, naturalist, or writing skills! Specific techniques for nature journaling marine environments In field journaling activities What to bring: Weather appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, journal (notebooks are also sold in our Discovery Center), optional: binoculars, drawing tools, glue stick, ruler. Accessibility Note: A portion of this event will occur on uneven, slightly steep beaches and trails.
