MMIP Awareness Walk
A one-hour walk on May 9th, 2026. Sponsored by the Samish Indian Nation. This is an annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) event to raise awareness and provide education on this sensitive and critically important issue. They held their first awareness walk in 2025—the first since COVID—and we are excited to continue the event in 2026. This year’s event will begin at Seafarers Memorial Park. After the main program, we will walk together carrying our MMIP awareness posters and umbrellas
