Whether collecting "endangered feces" to study killer whale health or playing patty cake with a 12-foot-long giant Pacific octopus\, SeaDoc finds the fun in fieldwork while engaging others to recognize the importance of protecting our Salish Sea. Meet The Speaker:Bob Friel writes\, films\, and produces Salish Sea Wild! for the SeaDoc Society\, an Orcas Island-based nonprofit dedicated to healing and protecting the Salish Sea. Bob is a marine scientist/communicator who spent thousands of hours underwater in exotic locations before finding a home 20 years ago amid the chilly green Northwest waters.
