Male and female dancers perform in brilliant - colored tartan kilts. \n\n Many local Highland dancers participate in the event at Brodniak Hall. Competitions are for ages four to adult and from beginner to premier levels.\n\n \n\n Championships are santioned by the Scottish Offical Board of Highland Dancing\; the world-wide governing body of Highland dance based in Scotland. Championships are open to dancers performing at the highest level of competitive dance called "premier".
