DESCRIPTION:Mosaid Stones Pendant Workshop\n\n\n\nAt the Firelight Designs Studio on Guemes Island Friday\, February 10th 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm - A creative free style technique to build your wire skills!\n\n \n\nChoose to create a pair of earrings or a pendant in this workshop. Using heavy copper wire\, hammer and form a frame for the stone mosaic\, or use a jeweler's saw to form your frame from copper sheet metal! A focal stone can be the pendant centerpiece\, and with 26 or 28 gauge wire work small stones and beads around it for an overall mosaic pattern (an alternative to wire wrapping a stone). Or...don't use a stone centerpiece and use small beads and stones with wire to create an intricate mosaic within the copper frame. Or......make a pair of earrings in a mosaic pattern\, and craft french hook ear wires in class\, or ready made french hook ear wires will be provided. The choice is yours!\n\n \n\nThis is a great class if you want to explore creation of a pendant (or earrings) without a pattern\, and work with wire! Everyone will take home a finished pendant or earrings. Written instructions handed out in class to make practicing at home easier!
